Empowering you to live your Prime Life.
Better health for all.
Fad diets suck and only make you feel worse. The end. Okay, that’s a bit extreme, but here’s our professional take

Healthy looks different on everybody.
What if instead of counting calories, you focused on how you felt, rather than the numbers on the scale?
The truth is, carbs are not the enemy, our bodies need certain fats to function properly, and you don’t need to become a marathon runner to shed extra weight.
Better health is achieved when we allow ourselves to listen to our bodies and feed it what it needs.
PrimeLife is a life-based nutritional counseling practice for those looking to live a healthier lifestyle without killing themselves.
We believe is slow, gradual progress that lasts,
rather than crash diets that are impossible to sustain.
Why PrimeLife?
You should work with a dietitian who cares about your well-being.
Nutrition is so much more than “this is healthy and this is not”. Maintaining good nutrition and health requires a holistic examination of our bodies. What we put into it affects our physical chemistry while our environment affects our mental wellbeing and how we take care of ourselves. The two are inextricably connected.
We take pride in being told our sessions are so much more than just learning about diets. Not only do we want you to have a great relationship with your dietitian, we want you to have an even greater relationship with yourself.
I started PrimeLife Nutrition in order to bridge the gap between what we think healthy looks like, versus what the science-backed research shows us is true health.
All PrimeLife dietitians are aligned around helping clients make positive behavioral changes using intuitive eating principles, motivational interviewing techniques, and providing relevant education and tools.
Whether you want to lose weight. lower your cholesterol, change your relationship with food, or learn how to create healthy meals that set a good example for your kids, PrimeLife is here to help you achieve your goals.

Leah Daywalt
RDN, LDN
Registered Dietitian
Favorite Snack: Yogurt covered pretzels
Favorite Way to Move: Walks around the neighborhood with my young son in tow.
Leah also grew up a picky eater, despite access to her mom’s nutritious home-cooked meals. It wasn’t until a bumpy college career path that she began to fully appreciate those home-cooked meals and the importance of nutrition.
Leah began her college education in a small school of music and sought out exercise as a way to deal with her stress. From there, her interest turned to nutrition and how to properly fuel her body.
Leah ended up changing schools so she could become fully immersed in her passion for nutrition and dietetics. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at West Chester University and went on to complete her dietetic internship at Cedar Crest College to become a Registered Dietitian. She’s worked in the clinical field for five years, and after a brief hiatus to enjoy newfound motherhood, Leah joined the PrimeLife Nutrition team.
Leah’s biggest passion is finding an attainable, happy balance between accentuating overall health and wellness while still enjoying the pleasures of life — especially delicious food!
